Casio Men's G1710D-7AV G-Shock Ana-Digi Sport Watch Review

Having owned two previous G-Shocks in my life (including the first series in 1984), I've long appreciated their quality. The main reason I stopped wearing them was simply because the resin straps would break, and having worn them for 4 years I grew weary of them. However, having burned through many fashion watches in the last 10 years I've been disappointed to spend $$$ only to get 1 or 2 years' worth of usage. So I'm back to G-Shock.I think this model (G1710D-7AV) represents a nice blend between good looks and practical durability...which most guys really want. The face is smaller on my wrist than I expected from a G-Shock, but I think it's still classy for the office. The side buttons are hidden in gray plastic (which you can't see in picture), but the rest of the watch is metal. You might find a classier analog-face G-Shock in the $200 - $300, but this one is a better value! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the LED isn't backlight. It's an amber light that comes around the inside bevel. So the LED helps you read the dial hands, but not the LCD screens.Nonetheless, it's still a cool light color.PS- the bottom LCD screen isn't blue as pictured, but it's still a different color than the top LCD which adds further distinction to the watch.

Casio Men's Classic Original Triple Sensor Watch with Thermometer, Barometer, and Compass Function Model ATC-1200 Review

My ATC 1200 (Casio Men's Classic Original Triple Sensor Watch with Thermometer, Barometer, and Compass Functions) was disappointing in several respects:1)The autobacklight function never did work properly.2)The band broke after about 2 years.3)When the watch was about six years old, the case broke away where the pin goes in that holds the band.Hence it is only useable as a "pocket watch."On Dec 29, 2007 the Casio web site said:"Please do not send this watch into our service center for a repair estimate. It is unrepairable."

Casio Men's AQF100W-7BV Forester Sports Thermometer Watch Review

After reading the reviews on here, I was a bit hesitant about buying this watch. I have had other Casio thermometer watches in the past, and was able to calibrate them to the accurate temperature while on my wrist. Despite all the reviews complaining about the inaccuracy of the temp, THIS WATCH IS NO DIFFERENT. All that needs to be done is to get a temp reading with another thermometer, and then program this watch according to the instruction booklet. That's it. It's reading temperature very accurately as I type. Yes, the instruction booklet is complicated (the PDF version from Casio.com is MUCH easier to follow), but it is worth it!

Casio Men's SGW100B-3V Digital Compass Twin Sensor Green Nylon Band Sport Watch Review

Casio Men's SGW100B-3V Digital Compass Twin Sensor Green Nylon Band Sport Watch
Average Reviews:

I bought this watch recently and as any Casio watch its great looking and worth fully for the price tag. Compass, World timer, Stop watch, Alarm and timer features are great and easy to operate. My only complain is the thermometer which I find practically useless. The instruction manual says watch sensor needs 30 min to adjust to the atmospheric temperature. For instance if you take your watch from warm place to a cold environment it will give erroneous readings for 30 mins!! And if you are wearing your watch, you can't depend on the reading at all since body temperarture will ridiculously increase the reading even in a cold winter day! If you take off your watch and try to measure.. you have to wait 30 mins to get accurate readings. So this sensor is not useful at all for measuring temperature when you are outdoors. Other than this, I like the watch.

Casio Men's SGW100-1V Digital Compass Twin Sensor Sport Watch Review

Casio Men's SGW100-1V Digital Compass Twin Sensor Sport Watch

This is a great watch. About accuracy: After performing the compass calibration, I can say it is fairly accurate. I always get acceptable direction of where the north should be. Temperature is also accurate but it is true, you need to take off the watch for about 10 to 15 min to get a good reading. If not, then you get a constant 31 degrees.
About size, I think it does has a very good size, big numbers, clear display and very nice to press buttons.
Band is resin.
I gave 4 stars because I think alarm is dim but that is just a personal point of view.
Very nice to use. In all, I am happy with my purchase.

Updatedic 21 08: Yes, timeis display normally in the central area of the screen, where the 330° is shown on picture. This picture here in amazon shows the compass mode. I have added some images for size and display info.
