(More customer reviews)I like this watch because of it's dual time display, digital and analog. It's a better looking watch than most inexpensive dual time watches. The biggest negative is that the watch face is a clear plastic instead of a glass crystal, and it scratches very easily. I would have rather paid a bit more for a more durable watch crystal. It is also a bit hard to set, especially figuring out how to set the dual times so they match. (Don't lose the instruction book!) I haven't tries it, but perhaps some CD scratch remover would work on the plastic watch face. I can't see this watch lasting the 10 years of battery life once it becomes too scratched.

The watch is similar to other digital watches to program. The band is plastic (gel) which is easy to keep clean, but is a little stiff. The watch is nice looking, but not dressy. (More customer reviews)I've had this watch for a few weeks now.I really like the looks of the watch and the bracelet has an excellent clasp more like those found on much more expensive watches. Documentation is typical of most Casio watches, very tiny letters in lots of languages, complete, and uninspired. Everything on the display is crisp and clear, but those with older eyes should take notice that the analog dial, the place where you actually read the time is rather small and for me requires concentration. My work around is to set the World Time Zone to my local time and then read the time from the digital numbers at the bottom of the screen.This replaces the date but makes the time easily readable for me without having to look over my glasses. Also, after a few weeks of office wear the crystal shows no sign of scratches.

Although it hasn't completely broken through yet, the small plastic thing to keep the band in place did which is very annoying. Solid watch in terms of functionality, wish there was a light though. In summary, decent watch, but won't stand the test of time.

(More customer reviews)Ok, so I've had this watch for about a 2 years already and I must say I'm very happy with it. It doesn't exactly seem to be built to the G-Shock quality, but the durability is surprisingly adequate. I'm not very easy on it, nor extremely careless either, but I've worn it plenty of time's while doing work on my truck, turning wrenches and busting my knuckles all the while having it get all banged up and apart from the obvious scratches it still works and looks great.
Now about the construction of the watch: the overall weight is fairly light and it's not very bulky like some Casio's G-shock watches. The illumination is provided by an orange LED bulb tucked behind the bezel so don't expect a fancy indiglo light. The housing is nice semi-metallic blue plastic and it's not painted like some other watches;I like this because if it gets all scratched up (like mine) it wouldn't be so obvious and it'll never fade. The strap isn't the softest rubber type I've felt (it's of a plasticky-hard rubber type) which I don't think is a con much because seems to make it more motor oil resistant. I've had other cheap watches in which the rubber strap over time swelled, became brittle, and broke because of motor oil and other chemicals like brake fluid. The case buttons provide good tactile feed back and stick out a bit for easy configuration, but on occasion because of this the time modes change when I'm moving around bumping into things;fortunately it's just the mode display and not the time settings that cycle (In order to adjust the time/alarm settings one of the buttons must be depressed and held for a few seconds).
For me the best part of the watch is the price. Sure, it'll probably break sooner or later, but at least I won't be breaking the bank just to pick other one up.

But unfortunately, Casio has put the glass (or plastic) cover on top surface of the watch and it is very easy to get scratched. Mine got scratched second day (just from a door). Timex usually put the glass slightly below the surface so that it doesn't get scratched easily. This scratch problem made me take 2 stars away from rating.

(More customer reviews)I've been wearing this watch since high school (over 15 years ago).I bought it for track so I could pace my practices.I can't find any watch out there that has the countdown feature that repeats, so I can set it to ding at me every 3 minutes or 2 hours or whatever.I love the digital - it's easy to read in a pinch.And I'm not really aware of time, so the hourly alarm really helps me keep track.I do agree that it is not the most attractive watch - especially for a female, but I just can't get enough of this light-weight, easy to use watch.I've had probably 5 of this exact watch.I lost my last two and I've worn out the rest.I try to wear other watches.. analog, silver, gold... that are more fashionable, but I just can't break away from this watch.I was heartbroken when Target stopped selling it, and elated when I found it on the web.I'm excited to know it's a 20 year old design... that way I can be confident that it will be around for a while.If not, I'd buy 50 more so I could make sure I always had one!That's how much I LOVE this watch... I just ordered it off this site after being without it for a year (did I mention Target?) and I cannot wait for it to arrive!!I should have bought 2...

(More customer reviews)Great watch with many great features. I love the size of the digital layout and the metal band is durable. To resize the band, push out the pins from the side that looks like screws.

Pros: Accurate, good looking, multiple alarms, timer, and stop-watch.

Cons: Metal band latch sometimes deforms, making it hard to latch. You have to bend it a certain way to make it work. The analog hands sometimes get out of sync with the digital time. You can fix that easily, but annoying sometimes. Lastly, at night you can't use the watch features. There is a light, but it occupies a button used for setting alarms and such. So if you are setting your alarm, you can't see the display. Timex has a night feature that, once enabled, turns the light on with every button press. My former watch had it and it was a very handy feature.

Great for the price.
