(More customer reviews)I just purchased the second of this type of Casio calculator watch.My first had lasted around 20 years.It didn't have the "Night Glo Keypad" though.Trying to hit the right key in the dark was the only complaint I might have had.I enjoyed all the features of my old Casio DBC1500 watch.The telememo and schedule memo kept a lot of this info handy.The calculator, which I used a great deal when grocery shopping, was very convenient.The timer and alarm also came in very handy.All in all, this watch has a lot of features for a very reasonable price.I decided to buy a new one because I had scratched the crystal and put some nicks in the metal face of my old one.I also lost a couple of screws and a spring the last time I changed the battery.

(More customer reviews)I have owned casio watches for about 35 years. They like all things get cheaper. The good points on this watch are, the 5 alarms, the spacious data storage, and the time accuracy. I need the alarms to help me remember when to take my blood pressure meds. They use to make the data bank without the calculator with 5 alarms that held 50 data numbers. That's what I had before this one. I really didn't want the calculator. The bad point is the watch case and band connection points are made of plastic. I play golf and like to leave my watch on. The watch band broke off after having it for about 6 months. Lucky thing for super glue. That's how I repaired it. My watch before this one broke in the same place where the pin sticks into the watch case my super glue didn't work good on it that's why I bought this watch.

(More customer reviews)I have been buying these watches because you can enter appointmentsinto the watch's memory using its keyboard rather than having to rely on a PC-based interface. The watch also has stopwatch and timer functions that I like. Other watches seem to lack this particular functionality. They rely on PC's to do the input which is inconvenient when you don't have a PC around.
Five stars for functionaliy.
Now to the problem. The body is weak. Typically the part where the pin holding the wrist strap is anchored to breaks off after about two years because the body is plastic. The gasket keeping the watch somewhat water-resistant distends. I wish they'd put this watch in a G-shock body.
One star for robustnes.
Overall 3 stars.

(More customer reviews)I was attracted to the watch because it claims to have a battery that lasts 10 years!I look forward to the 10 year claim with considerable doubt.My Casio DataBank watches needed new batteries every year or two.Over the years I have owned six such watches. I have discovered it is possible to "kill" a DataBank by changing its battery.

Although it is labeled as a "unisex" watch, the DBC31A is only slightly smaller in size than the, formally, male DataBank.It is an acceptable size for a man, or a woman who wants a large watch.It has five alarms which can be set to go off at any time of any date. They are one time use and can not be used to remind you of recurring appointments without resetting the timer for each occurrence. It has a full stop watch function; but, it does not have a count down timer.The calculator can be used to make basic calculations.It has a few dozen pages into which information (like contact data) of various sorts may be entered.An LED is used to illuminate the face of the watch.It provides adequate light for night vision; however it is not as bright or "attractive" as the electroluminescent lighting in the DataBank.

If you do not have a need for a count down timer, the low cost and features of this watch make it a good choice.

Casio Men's DBC150-1 Databank Digital Watch Review

(More customer reviews)I've had a similar Casio model for years (Databank 150), and after it finally broke down, I purchased this one. It is solid as a rock.
PROS
The features are un-rivaled by any other watch: I do standard calculations anywhere with the calculator function, and never have to flip through the phonebook while I'm looking for the numbers of various business contacts. On top of this, I'm never late for anything anymore, because of the brilliant schedule function. Not to mention this watch has all the normal features of a standard digital watch.
**BIG BONUS: The "light" button, which also puts the alarm to sleep, is HUGE and EXTREMELY easy to press! It makes it easy to light the watch up and stop the alarm, especially in dark conditions.**
CONS
Well, there are a few problems. The buttons are a little to small. I occasionally make a mistake when entering in a phone number or a calculation on the calculator.

(More customer reviews)I own the basic black, no backlight, Casio calculator watch. The first one I owned, the battery lasted for 10 years (turning the button beep prolongs battery life) and I lost the watch when the watchband finally broke.

When I went to replace it, I upgraded to a more expensive model that had a backlight on demand and stored phone numbers and appointments. The battery only lasted a few months.I replaced it and it lasted only a few months again. I bought another basic model.

I've now had that watch for three years and still going strong. I bought one for my teenage son and he loves it.

You get:
1. a digital watch that shows day, month, date year and time
2. a calculator that does simple math functions (buttons are small and take some getting used to
3. a stopwatch
4. an alarm clock
5. dual time function (can be set to show time in another time zone; I've never used this)
6. a watch so cheap, you don't have to worry about losing it and muggers don't want (this actually happened to me, the mugger wanted my wallet and my watch. when he saw my watch, he laughed and told me to keep it).

all for under 20 dollars.you can't beat this functionality for the price. I'll never buy another watch. I was recently given a t-shirt with this watch on it and the caption "Genuine Bling".True dat.

Casio Men's DBC30-1 Databank Digital Watch Review

(More customer reviews)I've owned this watch for 7 and a half years, since I was in 7th grade. It's served me perfectly, through watch band breakings and new battery replacements. The printing on it never wore off on the calculator buttons, and the screen did not scratch easily. The battery replacements were easy.

I only now am finally moving on to the DBC310-1 - not because I want to, but because the plastic casing on the DBC30-1 finally cracked, and I can't connect the band to the watch anymore. The ironic thing is that the watch itself still works perfectly. I imagine it probably will work for longer then I'm alive.

An excellent watch. I'll never get anything but Casio.

Casio Men's F105W-1A Illuminator Digital Watch Review

(More customer reviews)1999 - one of my other watches had a broken glass - so, I was looking for some watch, which I can use for 1 or 2 months before I can buy a fancy one.I was driving on I35 in Austin, drove into a walmart, saw a couple of watches and made a quick decision to buy this casio which then costed me about $14.

7 years have went by, I never bought another watch - I have received a few watches as gift during product promotions etc.But this is the best.It is on my wrist atleast 15 hours a day - office, sports (not swimming), special occasions ...

It is a fully functional, no-nonsense watch - Illuminator, alarm, large format display of time, day and date on the same screen.

My friends cautioned me against using the illuminator and the alarm - saying that it might reduce battery life.But, I have abused this watch more than anybody else could do, set daily alarms, use the illuminator maybe 4-5 times a month ... - I had to replace the watch strap once due to my misuse.

I have no plans of replacing this watch until the battery lasts.After the battery dies, planning to buy a new one - ofcourse it will be a casio (or maybe a citizen ecodrive).
